11 LONDON PARTNERS WITH UK SEPSIS TRUST FOR NEW CAMPAIGN

Today is a big news day, especially for those who know that sepsis kills 44,000 people in the UK each year.

NICE has finally issued guidance that health professionals should always ask, up front, if it 'could be sepsis' when anyone presents with an infection. This puts it on a par with heart attacks in terms of seriousness and urgency of diagnosis.

We have been developing the concept and a huge number of public awareness, HCP toolkits and fundraising materials with the Trust over the last few months, with more to come in the forthcoming weeks.
